We believe there’s a better way to brunch. One that’s guaranteed to turn any bruncher’s burnt hashbrown-frown upside-down. All you need is a repertoire of foolproof recipes and some help from CBD.

Yes, the CBD can help you keep your cool in the kitchen. But it can also elevate your brunch recipes with chill vibes and high-quality flavors. So, we rounded up the best of brunch CBD recipes for you! Team sweet, team savory, and team mimosa are all accounted for.

Brunch and mimosas are basically synonymous. Give this classic a no-fuss twist with the help of tropical flavored water-soluble CBD tincture and pineapple juice.

If you or your brunch guests want an NA version, you can easily swap in your favorite sparkling clear liquid for champagne to make a fun and fruity CBD mock-mosa.

This recipe makes one cocktail or mocktail. If you’re wondering how much champs you’ll need for the whole gang, keep in mind the entertaining rule of thumb: one standard 750ml bottle equals around six mimosas. We’ll let you do the math from there, bartender!

Ingredients

  • 4 oz champagne, cava, or other sparkling wine (or bubbly NA beverage if you’re going mocktailing it)
  • 2 oz pineapple juice
  • ⅓ dropperful Pure Craft Nano CBD Water Soluble - Tropical
  • Fresh orange slices for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Pour your fizzy beverage into a champagne flute or wine glass (because only the best will do!). Once the bubbles settle, slowly pour in the juice. Then drop in the CBD. Finish with orange slices if you’ve got ‘em.

Vegan Waffles With Strawberry Mojito CBD Compote

Trust us when we say that you don’t have to be a plant-based eater to enjoy this dish. This vegan variation of Aretha Frankenstein’s Waffles of Insane Greatness yields a perfectly crisp, flavorful waffle.(2)

And the strawberry mojito CBD compote? It’s the icing on the cake — except this is brunch, so um...it’s the syrup on the waffle! Yeah, that’s it.

Want to reduce your time in the kitchen in the morning? The compote can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator (labeled appropriately, of course!) until chow time.

Compote Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen strawberries
  • Zest from 1 lime
  • Juice from 1 lime
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 2 tsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 4-6 mint leaves, sliced into very thin ribbons (That’s a chiffonade for all you knife skills geeks.)
  • 1 ½ droppersful Pure Craft Nano CBD Water Soluble - Strawberry Mojito

Makes four servings

Waffle Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cornstarch or arrowroot powder
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 2 cups almond or other plant-based milk
  • ⅔ cup coconut oil, melted and cooled slightly
  • 2 tsp granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract

Makes four Belgian waffles

Compote Instructions

  1. Combine all compote ingredients except the arrowroot powder, mint leaves, and CBD drops in a small pot. Heat over medium heat until the strawberries soften and the mixture reaches a simmer.
  2. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes more. You’re looking for soft, jammy strawberry pieces that easily give when you press them and a bright red syrup.
  3. While the berry concoction is simmering, make a slurry: Combine the cornstarch or arrowroot powder and a splash of water. Add it to the berry mixture and stir constantly until the mixture thickens.
  4. Once thickened to pie filling consistency, remove from the heat. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then add sliced mint leaves and CBD drops.

Waffle Instructions

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients, then whisk in the wet ingredients until just combined. Let it rest for five minutes so the flax seed can activate as a vegan flax egg.
  2. While the waffle batter rests, heat your waffle maker. If it has a temperature control setting, heat it to medium high. Also heat your oven to the lowest setting and set a cooling rack inside.
  3. Once the waffle iron is hot, scoop ⅓ cup of batter into the waffle griddle.
  4. When each waffle is done, remove it from the waffle maker and set it in your warm oven on the cooling rack. This will ensure they stay crispy and warm until you and/or your guests are ready to eat.
  5. Scoop the compote onto the waffle just before serving.

The Simplest Brunch CBD Recipe: Avocado Toast

Does the thought of wrangling a waffle iron or whisk make you lose your appetite? Then this is the brunch CBD recipe for you! Picture this: Avocado is smooshed onto toast, then you can choose your own toppings adventure from there. We’ve shared some of our fave avo toast toppings (CBD oil included). But the sky’s the limit.

There’s no oven, batter, or blending required. Yes, brunch can be this simple!

Ingredients

  • 1 thick slice of your fave bread for toast
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • ⅓ dropperful Pure Craft Nano CBD Broad Spectrum Oil - Orange
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional (but highly recommended) toast toppings: Bacon bits, green onion, red chili flake, orange zest

Makes one serving

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread.
  2. Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out half of the avo and place it onto the toast. Smoosh it down with a fork. If your avocado was on the small side, dig into the other half. Smoosh and evenly distribute it among the toast.
  3. Drizzle on the CBD oil, sprinkle on S & P, then add your toppings. Enjoy immediately.
